Natural Essential Oil

Natural essential oil is highly concentrated, aromatic essences of plants.

They are over 100 times more concentrated than the oils in dried herbs. Containing hundreds of organic constituents, including hormones, vitamins, and other natural elements that work on many levels.

When considering adding these special oils to your next bath, take the time to go over this list I have compelled telling their specific needs.

For normal skin try, sandalwood, neroli, and patchoulli.

For dry skin use, chamomile, geranium, and lavender.

For oily skin use, neroli, cypress, clary, sage and orange.

For blemished skin use, carrot, chamomile, thyme, and eucalyptus.

For stress relief use, lavender, chamomile, hops and bergamot.

For detoxing use, dandelion, grapefruit, burdock root, and green tea.

For muscle aches use, sage, eucalyptus, peppermint, and ginger.

To increase energy use, basil, rosemary, juniper, and peppermint.

If you grow your own herbs you can make bath bags from cheesecloth with the above as well.

You must watch out for the difference between pure essential oil, and synthetic fragrance oils. Synthetic fragrance oils are produced by blending aromatic chemicals primarily derived from coal tar. These synthetic fragrances are not suitable for aromatherapy, they are used for potpourri, soap, and perfume at a fraction of the cost.

Essential oil is like precious jewels or fine wine, they are the gems of nature. The life force of aromatic plants sometimes called the “soul” of the plant.

These oils absorb into the fluid surrounding the cells beneath the skins surface for a number of effects, including deep cleansing, balancing, nourishing, and rejuvenating.

When you see sometimes the high prices of essential oils you may understand why when you read the following information they are charging so much for these oils.

It takes 50 pounds of eucalyptus, 150 pounds of lavender, 500 pounds of rosemary, 1,000 pounds of jasmine, and over 2,000 pounds of rose to make a single pound of essential oils.

So the next time you use essential oils you can certainly appreciate what it took to create this small wonder in the glass jar, that burst with scents and joy!
