Gene,  Thank you for the compliments.  We searched the Internet for do-it-yourself plans to build a hot-tub. I was very excited to find your web site, which used concrete block as a base material. Since, I am a bricklayer, it was easy for me to install the base of the project.

The work was done by myself, my wife and my son. We followed your directions and also covered the entire base with 1" x 1" ceramic tiles. The surround walls of the spa are a concrete board base covered with Imperial plaster base coat and finished in Venician Plaster. The glass block panels are separated by 2 mirrors which add plenty of depth to the room. The built-in plant enclosure adds color to the room.

We also installed a television enclosure opposite the plant enclosure. Although, I could not keep track of the hours it took me to finish the project, I know it will be enjoyed Thank you for all of your help! Bob & Linda Arnold
